Advanced Communicator Bronze
ACB — First Advanced Communication Level
The Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) represents your first step into advanced speaking territory, building on the Competent Communicator foundation with specialized techniques.
What is the ACB Award?
The Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) is a legacy Toastmasters designation that marks the entry into the advanced communication track. After earning the Competent Communicator (CC) by completing 10 foundational speeches, members who pursued the ACB explored specialized communication styles through Advanced Communication manuals.
Under the legacy program, the ACB required completing any two Advanced Communication manuals beyond the CC. Each manual contained 5 speeches focused on a specific speaking discipline. Under the modern Pathways system, completing Levels 1 and 2 of a path is the recognized equivalent.
Note: The ACB is a legacy award. Members joining under Pathways complete path levels rather than earning a distinct "ACB" credential. Legacy ACB holders retain their designation in Toastmasters records.
