Distinguished Toastmaster

The Highest Honor in Toastmasters

The DTM award represents the highest level of achievement in the Toastmasters program — a testament to years of dedication to communication, leadership, and service.

What is the DTM Award?

The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation is the highest educational award that Toastmasters International offers. It signifies that a member has completed advanced levels of both the communication and leadership tracks, demonstrated sustained commitment to their club, and contributed to the Toastmasters organization beyond the club level. The DTM is a rare and prestigious achievement recognized globally.

Under the current Pathways education program, earning the DTM requires completing two full Pathways learning paths, serving in club and district leadership roles, and conducting a leadership seminar. This is a multi-year journey that develops well-rounded communicators and servant leaders.
