• 1.Evaluation must be 2–3 minutes
• 2.All contestants evaluate the same 5–7 minute test speech
• 3.Preparation time: 5 minutes after hearing the test speech
• 4.Notes allowed during the 5-minute preparation only
• 5.Evaluated on effectiveness of feedback, not personal opinion

Winning Tips

• ★Use a structured format: commend, recommend, commend
• ★Be specific — "great eye contact in the opening" not just "good delivery"
• ★Prioritize the 2-3 most impactful suggestions
• ★Show you listened carefully with specific references to the speech
• ★Practice delivering evaluations in exactly 2:30
